Our core team of theatre practitioners and support staff are all extremely passionate about working with young people, plus we have an exciting assembly of guest and associate artists every year. All staff are PVG checked.
Core Staff

Jenni Mason
Artistic director
Jenni trained at the then RSAMD (now RCS) graduating in 2000 with a BA (Dramatic Studies). She has worked at PACE since 2001 and was also an Associate Director at Scottish Youth Theatre. Highlights from her writing and directing credits include award-winning film and theatre piece I Am Me, Ready or Not at the SECC, Abbeysong, Rebel Girls, and Avalanche at the Edinburgh Fringe. Jenni became Artistic Director for PACE in 2018 and has been overseeing and implementing the new artistic programme since then. She passionately believes in the transformative power of the arts for all young people and wants to create an artistic programme that offers as many meaningful opportunities as possible to as many young people as possible.

angela orr
Associate director (Performance)
Angela has been with PACE for 15 years, during which time she has run hundreds of workshops and directed countless performances. She is now our Associate Director (Performance), a role which includes overseeing all of our Fest performance experiences, Performance Choir, and other youth performance work.

Lyndsey Graham
Associate Director
(Creative Learning)
Lyndsey has worked for PACE for 12 years as a workshop tutor, actress and director and is now Associate Director (Creative Learning), a role which includes coordinating PACE's youth theatre and other educational output.

Claire Ramsay
Engagement & Outreach Coordinator
Claire studied Theatre at The University of Glasgow and Musical Theatre at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She is trained in Estill vocal technique and has sung in various shows, concerts and cabarets across the country. Claire has worked as an actress, director and tutor.

Grant Mason
Chief Executive
Grant graduated from Glasgow University in 1998 with an Master of Arts (Distinction) in Theatre and Film after attending PACE as one of its earliest members. He has worked for PACE in various roles over the years including producing, technical, marketing, IT, finance and leading PACE's media production unit, and now oversees all aspects of the company's work. Grant is a keen cook and photographer and always enjoys an episode of Columbo.

operations manager
Colleen has worked for PACE for over 10 years, and is first port of call for anything relating to the day-to-day running of the organisation including Front of House, external hires, and much, much more! She has a background in Customer Service and HR , and previously worked for Glasgow Airport.

Cat Reilly
Marketing Manager
Cat is responsible for the promotion of PACE’s work in print, press and online. She has more than 15 years experience creating and implementing marketing and PR strategies for organisations within the creative, public and charitable sectors, including Rambert Dance Company, Citizens Theatre and Scottish Youth Theatre. A bookworm who is addicted to interiors accounts on Instagram and knitting.

Pauline Ramsay
Production Manager
Pauline is responsible for the smooth running of PACE's technical operations. She has also written the lyrics of many of PACE's original songs. She trained at University of Strathclyde.

Alan Orr
Producer / Musical Director
Alan has been part of the PACE panto team since 2002, appearing as an actor for 15 consecutive years and as Composer / Musical Director for 12 years. He also provides musical support for all of PACE’s ‘Fest!’ events and project work including Dungeness (National Theatre Connections 2018) and PACE Rep Company (Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2019).

david neil
Senior Technician
David has been involved in theatre for 12 years. Beginning as stage crew, he moved to flying, then to designing and operating lights and sound. He has also worked on everything from small scale theatre tours to musicals to one-acts. Since joining PACE in 2019 he has worked on Fest, toured with Kaleidoscope and become ASM for panto. He may have a Masters in psychology but that just means he knows what you’re thinking and how to light it.

Jordan Blackwood
Workshop Tutor
Jordan is a freelance director and facilitator. He spent the majority of his teenage years at PACE before studying at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama in London. Jordan creates new work, works in festival contexts and facilitates projects in youth, community and adult-learning contexts. Recently, Jordan has worked with the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Traverse Theatre, Tron Theatre and Dundee Rep among others. Jordan is a self-proclaimed coffee snob - no instant, thanks. Fun fact, Jordan was invited to be part of the hip-hop team for the London 2012 Opening Ceremony - if you know him and his dance ability, you'll know why he passed it down!

Eleanor Farrelly

Saffron Gillies
Workshop Tutor
Saffron trained in Musical Theatre at New College Lanarkshire, and later trained in Facilitation as a Creative Learning Intern with the Royal Lyceum Theatre Company. Her work has taken her into varied settings including theatres, youth groups, community centres, schools, nurseries and hospitals. She loves incorporating elements of craft and visual art into her theatre work. Her favourite animal is the Highland Coo!

Chloe has worked for PACE as an actor, workshop tutor and director for several years. She appeared in the title role as part of the professional cast in last year’s panto production Snowhite. She has also spent time touring America with TV show Restaurant Impossible.

Iona has been a member of PACE Youth Theatre since the age of 5, and it has been through these years that she has grown to massively appreciate the arts. After leaving PACE she was lucky enough to join them as a member of staff, and work alongside a really talented team to encourage and inspire young artists and actors like herself. Still an avid High School Musical fan and in love with all things theatre!

Stephanie Pollock

Stephanie attended PACE Youth Theatre herself before studying BA (Hons) Performance at University of the West of Scotland. She is currently studying her Masters in Playwriting & Dramaturgy at Glasgow University. Stephanie is a freelance facilitator/writer/director and part of the PACE artistic team. She was recently Assistant Director on Love & Information (Webster’s Theatre, Glasgow). Stephanie has also extensively worked with young people with additional support needs.

Adam Cabuk

Adam is studying theatre at Glasgow University and has a passion for being creative and working with young people. Adam has been a member of PACE since the age of eleven. Adam was Assistant Director on PACE’s NT Connections play Dungeness. Adam enjoys food programmes, politics and comedy.
