Outdoor Performance

Some teenagers do something bad, really bad, then panic and cover the whole thing up. But when they find that the cover-up unites them and brings harmony to their once fractious lives, where’s the incentive to put things right?

Most frequent questions and answers

At PACE our aim is to offer a unique and varied artistic programme, which offers young people of all ages the chance to participate, learn and perform or in a whole variety of bespoke performing arts experiences during the school holidays. Whatever you are interested in we have something for you – from classic to contemporary texts, devising, physical theatre, comedy, musical theatre and site-specific performances.

All our events promote confidence, self-esteem and self-expression as well as teamwork and collaboration skills. On top of this each individual event focuses on developing different creative skills and you can see some of the varied range of skills that will be covered listed under each event description. The very core of our ethos is about developing each young person and giving them the chance to be part of a fun and creative environment in which they can express themselves and be who they want to be.

So, what are you waiting for? Do something different this year, something you’ve never done before, and be part of Fest!; make new friends, take risks, create incredible performances, learn new skills and make memories to last a lifetime.

We cannot wait for you to join us!

Covid guidance means audience capacities are currently extremely limited.  Tickets may be limited to 1 or 2 per participant.  We will let you know when show tickets are available and how to book.

For those not taking part or who know people taking part in Fest! why not come along and see some of the performances. Tickets for shows are not included in the price of the events. Ticket prices vary and are detailed on each event description. Concessionary tickets are available up to all PACE members, age 21 or under, as well as over 65’s, students, registered disabled, and those receiving means tested benefits.
You can book tickets for all performances at any time during the summer. Shows normally last 30-60 mins. Get yours early to avoid disappointment.

Covid-19 has brought uncertainty to everyone planning events, so we want to offer booking security with our No Worries Refund Policy. If Covid 19 restrictions prevent us from running our events, or illness or self-isolation means you need to cancel – we will provide a full refund if the event has not yet begun, or a pro-rated refund by day, if in the middle of the event.

PACE is a registered charity.

At PACE we want to make sure young people have the opportunity to benefit from arts activities in a way that is safe for participants and others. We have made a number of changes to capacities, start times, cleaning, ventilation and other procedures to minimise risk and all activities have been risk assessed. Covid guidance for children’s activities, youth work and performance is constantly evolving and we will continue to monitor these updates and make changes as required. Guidance varies by age of participant, the type of activity, and the current Renfrewshire protection level.  This may change before the event takes place and we will update all participants if this impacts on our Fest! activities.

Current Guidance Summary

  • Social distancing is required for young people 12 and over.
  • Face coverings are advised in communal areas, e.g. corridors for young people over 5. Please bring a mask.
  • Young people over 12 and audience members may be temperature checked on arrival.  All young people will be asked to hand sanitise.
  • Drop-off and pick-ups will take place at designated point outside (over 5’s).
  • Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of coronavirus.

PACE is a self-sufficient, non-profit making company and registered charity so all of our membership charges go towards improving the quality of service we provide to young people.
